Photos: Runner Rocky, Jonasky Join the Alaska World Milk Day 2015

Now on its 3rd year, Alaska, one of the leading sports milk brand spearheaded the World Milk Day celebration last May 31, 2015 at the SM Mall of Asia running grounds. World Milk Day is actually celebrated annually in many countries worldwide, providing an opportunity to focus attention on milk as a global food central to health and well-being across cultures and nations, and to highlight the contributions connected with milk and the overall dairy industry. 

To celebrate this, Alaska conducted a fun run with four (4) categories: 3KM, 3KM Family, 5KM and 10KM. Aside from that, a zumba was also conducted right after the run.

Yours truly Runner Rocky and my running buddy Jonas Symon Abraham participated in this said exciting event. Our tandem known as jonasky joined the 10Km run at the same time covered the event being one of the media and fitness bloggers. 

We had witnessed and experience the fun. We enjoyed the run at the same time watched the dance moves of the participants joining the zumba party right after. Milks were pouring like storm as all the participants received a 1.8 kg can of Alaska milk at the same time, a glass of milk was served. We even tasted the sweet and yummy champorado served on that time savored with Alaska milk. 

Well, the most joyous part of the event in our case were pictures! Yes as we always do in every events, we love to take many photos and selfies! These photos served as our souvenirs from the different runs and events we had attended

Famous personalities were also spotted during the event. Some of them were the PBA basketball legend Jeffrey Cariaso and his team and the TV Patrol showbiz reported Ms. Gretchen Fullido.

The Alaska Family Run celebrates family bonding of going out and enjoying fun activities together like running. Aside from the run and zumba, Alaska also launched the Milk Hour (6am) in four different locations: Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao which aims to promote proper nutrition for kids. The beneficiary of this running event is the Children's Hour.
