Runner Rocky for KalayaRUN 2016

Way back in high school, yours truly Runner Rocky is a huge fanatic of Philippine History. I was even the quizzer of our school who already competed with another schools and brought home different victories hailing me as a "Best in Social Studies" from 1st year to 4th year. :)  

Now that I'm not anymore a high school student, it's glad to look back to the date I've used to memorize - June 12. And that significant date in Philippine and World History now turns into a remarkable fun run hitting my two interests / hobbies today - blogging and running!

The name of the fun run is really catchy and remarkable, KalayaRUN 2016 - a fun run dedicated to our Philippine Independence!

Well aside from commemorating our Philippine Independence, KalayaRUN 2016 is actually a run for a cause for the benefit of Piso Para Sa Kolehiyo. PPK is a non-profit project headed by missionaries whose main goal is to be able to educate young people from the unreached victims of typhoon Yolanda.

This running event is once more brought to us by RMVP Events, the same team who brought us the PagmamahaRUN fun run last February 14, 2016 inline with the Valentines Day celebration.
