CEBU, one of the Philippines top tourist spots and the place known for its native delicacies, natural views, and historical land during the Spanish regimen will be bringing once more the much awaited multi-sports event, the Cobra IRONMAN 70.3 Asia Pacific Championship 2016.
Yours truly Runner Rocky got an exclusive invite to cover the exclusive presscon of the said event on July 7, 2016 at the Shangrila Hotel The Fort, Taguig City wherein they revealed exciting adventures to look for during the event. The IRONMAN 70.3 Asia-Pacific Championship will head to the Philippines on August 7, 2016. According to the official IRONMAN organizer, the championship event will now be rotated annually throughout the Asia-Pacific region, starting with IRONMAN 70.3 Philippines, Cebu. This event will offer a $75,000 USD professional prize purse and 30 age-group qualifying slots for the 2017 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship.
Just like in the previous launch, the medal of this year's IRONMAN was not yet revealed! According to the one who designed the said medal, it was the tradition of the IRONMAN not to reveal the medal before the actual event. The participants will see the actual medal when they crossed the finish line on the actual event. This will add more thrills and excitements to them!
Triathletes Matteo Guidiceili and Ivan Carapiet graced the event. Matteo hosted the program while Ivan gave insights about this sports. I will share my exclusive video interviews with these two guys on my next posts so stay tune!

| The Reigning Bb. Pilipinas Supra Natural Graced the Event Representing Cebu |
Aside from Matteo and Ivan, the other personality who graced the event was the current Bb. Pilipinas Supra National 2016, Ms. Rogelie Catacutan. Rogelie represented the beautiful place of Cebu along with the performers who showcased an interpretative Cebuano dance number to the audience.

Swim start at the beautiful Shangrlia Mactan Beach – with crystal clear water. T1 is at the Mactan Newtown, about 100 meters away from swim exit.
The bike traverses four cities forming an M –Loop, showcasing urban Cebu. Here you will experience the famous headwind of the Cobra Ironman 70.3 Cebu!
The run is along the roads of Punta Enngano, lined up by 100,000 townsfolk cheering every one until the last participant.
With this exciting course and beautiful venue, it seems like Runner Rocky will transform into an IRONMAN soon! What do you think?!
