Pio Luz to Runner Rocky: "I Want to Devote Myself to Fitness"

Pio Luz was hailed as the Mister Slimmers World Great Bodies 2016 beating the 12 other male contestants in the final competition held at the Newport Performing Arts and Theater, Resorts World Manila, November 15.

This competition was now Pio's greatest achievement in terms of fitness. Earlier this year, Pio was also one of the finalist in the prestige Century Tuna Superbods Nation 2016. Aside from that, Pio is also the current brand ambassador and running pacer of the NIKE's very own NIKE+ Running Club (NRC).

This was already Runner Rocky's third encounter with Pio and my second interview with him. After winning the competition, I had a quick conversation with Pio regarding his fitness preparation making him the grand winner in this fitness battle.

"Intense Diet,"  Pio revealed during our conversation. "And my mentor, he did it to me," Pio then introduced me to his fitness mentor. Here is my quick video interview with Pio after his winning moment:

Pio will also represent the country in the international fitness competition next year to be held in the USA.
