In time for the celebration of Sinulog Festival and for the 10TH Cebu Marathon, yours truly Runner Rocky with my running teammates visited the beautiful and historic place of Cebu, the so-called "Queen City of the South."
Before conquering our first marathon in the said city, we had our side trips exploring some of its historic spots and tourist attractions. Two of which were the Taoist Temple located at the Beverly Hills and the Cuartel in the Oslob Beach!
And to fit myself in these said places, I shaved my head!
Though I've used to have a semi-kal (semi-bald) hairstyle wayback in my childhood, this is my first time now in my adult age to have an almost bald hairstyle. This was my opening salvo for 2017! I welcomed the year of the roaster with a new bald and bold look!
Now, here are two of the historic places in Cebu that fitted my new hairstyle:
Taoist Temple
Located in Beverly Hills, Cebu, the Taoist Temple is a sacred place for the Chinese or for the Asians who have a Taoism religion. With its peaceful and beautiful surroundings, the place attracts tourists of different nationalities.

Cuartel
Located at the Oslob Beach, Cebu, Cuartel which is a Spanish terrm that means a military barracks in Spain and Spanish-speaking countries, is a place where Spanish soldiers stay and they imprison here the caught Filipino Indios during the Spanish Period. Yes this is Quarter in English or the Police Quarter in modern times. Made of ancient walls, Cuartel revealed the rich page of the Philippine history.

Two different places, two different cultures, one Runner Rocky! My new look in bold bald fits the two historic places in Cebu! What can you say about the bald new look of Runner Rocky? Which between the two places I truly belong?
