The Great Fight Begins With The "URCC BETS: Battle Extreme Tournament of Superstars”

The Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC), Asia’s longest-running MMA promotions outfit, launched last Thursday (January 19) its newest fight card, the “URCC BETS: Battle Extreme Tournament of Superstars,” slated on January 28 at the Casino Filipino Pavilion, and will be aired at a later date on ABS-CBN’s S+A channel.

The event, a partnership with Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), is headlined by URCC legend Caloy “Bad Boy” Baduria versus newcomer Jessdan Dela Pena, and Arvin “Asintado” Chan going up against Ukranian beast Askar “No Mercy” Mozharov. 

URCC is fresh from a successful debut in USA via “URCC 29: Conquest,” which featured two exciting title fights featuring Will “The Kill” Chope and Fabricio Alves in a featherweight title showdown and URCC’s double champion (Light Heavyweight and Middleweight) Chris Hoffman, who tangled with David Douglas in a middleweight bout. “URCC 29: Conquest” will have its maiden broadcast on the country’s leading sports channel on free TV on January 28, 9pm.

  

Philippine mixed martial arts (MMA) just got off a banner year in 2016, when it continued to gain popularity with extensive coverage of MMA events on S+A and the unstoppable rise of Filipino MMA combatants in the international arena.

Don’t miss the explosive “URCC BETS: Battle Extreme Tournament of Stars” on January 28 led by the main events featuring Caloy “Bad Boy” Baduria against Jessdan Dela Pena, and Arvin “Asintado” Chan taking on Askar “No Mercy” Mozharov at the Casino Filipino Pavilion. And don’t miss the airing of the URCC’s US debut in “URCC 29: Conquest” on the same day at S+A starting at 9pm.
