Alaska is the leading milk brand which harness the youth to be an active and role model athletes of the future. Various physical events for the kids were already organized by this brand. And glad that yours truly Runner Rocky already witnessed and became part of it.
Two of Alaska's major events like the Alaska Jr. NBA and the Alaska World Milk Day Run were already covered before by yours truly. But this Sunday, I witnessed another Alaska's interesting event - the Alaska Ironkids Aquathlon.
Held its firs leg in the Manila Polo Club in McKinley Hills, Taguig City last April 9, 2017, the Alaska Ironkids Aquathlon Series is just one of the athletic competitions organized by Alaska to encourage kids as young as six years old to lead active and healthy lifestyles. This year, four races will challenge Ironkids - two aquathlons and two triathlons.
Strength in Numbers |
Alaska Ironkids showed strength and determination at the 1st leg of the Alaska IronKids Aquathlon held in Makati City. 230 veteran and first-time IronKids participated in the highly-anticipated aquathlon for kids. They are joined by Andy Aguila, Chairman Aquatics Committee and Edna Beduy, Sports & Athletics Manager of Alaska. The next leg of the Alaska IronKids Aquathlon is slated this coming June at Subic.
