For the very first time, yours truly Runner Rocky finally met the "Queen of the Universe," Ms. Pia Wurtzbach. And not only a simple meeting, I shared a winning selfie with her upstage when I won the 1st Place in the Century Tuna Social Media Contest!
Well, the contest is all about posting a creative video in social media using the video taken in the 360 degree video booth using the hashtags #QueenoftheCentury, #PiaforCenturyTuna, #CenturyTuna, and #CenturyTuna100PercentWinner.
The contest is another challenging contest. But then being the Hall of Fame title holder as Century Tuna Event Grand Winner (since I've won major prizes consecutively in the previous Century Tuna events) I have to defend my title. And yes with my creativity and will to win, I've got again the major prize winning 1st Place in the contest! (I will share with you my winning video entry in my next blog post).
"And the First Place goes to... Rocky Batara...," the program host Sam YG loudly announced. And my winning entry was flashed on stage with Pia on the center! Well, below is that said grand prize winner announcement:
Ok, after that grand announcement, I was very much ready to receive two grand prizes - first to receive the GC which is the actual prize and second to have my very first selfie with Ms. Pia! Whooh!
With different angles, I got more selfies with Pia! And she was very much willing to pose with me sweet. Below are two more of our photos together:
The event's official hashtag which is #CenturyTuna100PercentWinner perfectly fitted us on that very moment - Pia being the grand winner of Miss Universe 2015 and yours truly Runner Rocky being the grand winner of the social media contest at the same time, a grand winner to have a rubbing elbow with Pia!
My winning moment doesn't end here, I even got a chance to interview Pia in my video blog which I will share on my next post! :)
Pia was introduced as the Century Tuna's new endorser bagging the title of the "Queen of the Century," Monday night of July 17, 2017 at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel.
According to Pia, she is already a Century Tuna lover before. She ate Century Tuna even though she was not yet popular before.
