And now they were four...!
The 41st National MILO Marathon which concluded last July 30, 2017 marked my fourth National MILO Marathon race. And for the second time around, I've conquered the competitive 42.195K distance strong and kicking at the finish line.
Retelling my story, I've started running in MILO Marathon in July 2014 taking the 21K distance. It was followed by another 21K in 2015. Both gave me the precious hard-earned MILO medal after beating the strick cut-off time of 2 hours and 30 mins.
Since I was successful in the two MILO half marathons and I feel that I can excel more, I decided to take the full 42K category in July 31, 2016. As expected, I was able to beat the 6 hours cut off time giving me my very huge MILO marathon medal which everyone is dreaming of.
The courage continues! I strive for my second full marathon in MILO last week, July 30, 2017. Thanks God! With a 10-minute extension, I was able to beat the cut off time! My second so-called ga-platitong medal was then my reward!
Here are now the compilation of my four finish line photos in the National MILO Marathon Manila leg elimination from 2014 to 2017:
And of course to further inspire you, adding my four MILO Marathon wall photos wearing and holding my medals of achievement building me as a champion:
A champion is not born... it is created. Yours truly Runner Rocky is a proud product of MILO Marathon.
So next year, this will be five! See you again next year for the 42nd National MILO Marathon 2018. Congratulations once more to all the finishers! Keep the fire burning! 08/09/2017 (Runner Rocky)
