When Accomplishing Two Running Events and a Charity Work in a Day

Red or Purple? Which color do you wear last Sunday? Purple Run  or OYM 2017 Breakthrough Leg 3? Well, why choose if we can have both?!  

Yours truly Runner Rocky together with my sports and running team Team Runner Rocky just conquered two running events in one day, Sunday morning of October 8, 2017. These are the Organique's very first Purple Run and the third and final leg of OYM (On Your Mark) 2017 Breakthrough race. 

And yes, these two races took place in one place - in Bonifacio Global City, The Fort, Taguig. Therefore Runner Rocky was able to run in both races. Back to back race or should I say, a Crossover Race?!

I've took first the longer one which is the third leg of OYM in the 34TH St. of BGC. Afterwards, a shorter distance followed which is the Purple Run in McKinley Hills right along the route to BGC.

But what makes that day more exciting was that, right after the two races, I took part in my third event. This time, it was a charity event organized by the Taus siblings Antoinette and Tom. The organization is called CORA, an acronym which is also derived from the name of their mother.

Right after my two races, we met Toni and Tom for a quick presscon for CORA in cooperation with FOXLife channel. And right after that, we went to the Payatas Dumpsite in QC for a charity event for the less fortunate children. 

I'll be sharing with you the details of our charity event with Toni and Tom as well as my exclusive interview videos with the two on my succeeding blog posts. But right now, let's focus first with my two races.
