Most of the runners (including yours truly Runner Rocky) love to take photos and selfies during fun runs. We always secure a finish line photo after crossing the finish line. Or while running, aside from having our selfies in the middle of the race, we even look for photographers to capture our running moments. Yes, I'm guilty with that! In every race, I always look for my favorite Running Photographers to catch my 'running in action' moments! And I pause for a second in some part to have the best pose that I can share to my followers.
But what if there's a particular running event dedicated to selfie and picture addicts like me? Well, check the poster below:
Strike a Pose! Share your blessings!
Running Photographers will hold a fun run on December 10, 2017 at the CCP Complex, Pasay City to celebrate the art of sharing, touching lives and making a difference. As a prelude to the Christmas Season, the event aims to raise funds for the benefit of Senden Home Foundation, a “home for homeless boys” in Binganonan, Rizal.
Aptly called Strike a Pose Fun Run, the event will feature different photo stations along the route. Runners will have the opportunity to have their “running moments” captured by our photographers at every station.

To add more fun to the run, the organizer and its sponsors will be raffling off a pair of Hoka shoes during the event. There will also be a mini-competition for best photos showing the runners’ best poses during the event. The mechanics will be posted at the Running Photographers’ Facebook page (www.facebook.com/runningphotographers). Team Soleus Philippines will also be leading the Zumba Reggaeton.

The fun run, sponsored by Lightwater, Vitamin Boost, Toby’s Sports, and Soleus, and powered by RG Events, will have three distance categories - 3kms, 5kms, and 10kms. The registration fees and gun start times are as follows:

The registration fee entitles each runner-registrant to a race bib and an event shirt. Likewise, finishers will also get a finisher’s medal and an assortment of freebies from the event sponsors.
Online registration opened on October 20, 2017. To register online, participants can visit https://reg.goorahna.com/#/event/strike-a-pose-fun-run-2017. On the other hand in-store registration will open on November 9 from 1pm to 9pm at the following venues:
- Olympic Village - Gateway, Cubao
- Olympic Village - Robinsons Galleria, Ortigas
- Olympic Village - Festival Mall, Alabang
With the fun run, Running Photographers aims to encourage running enthusiasts to keep an active lifestyle while at the same time share their blessings to the less fortunate. It wants to focus more on instilling into the consciousness of the participants how they can help in their own little way. As such, there will be no cash prizes but top finishers for each category will receive gift packs and giveaways from our sponsors.
