For the very first time, Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla plays a billiard genius in the upcoming GMA Network's sports-themed series, 'Bolera!' The series also marks Kylie's comeback on Primetime TV after the success of her 2019 teleserye 'TODA One I Love' pairing her to Ruru Madrid and David Licauco.
In 'Bolera,' Kylie will give life to the character of Joni, a billiard genius will continue the legacy of his father. She is paired to two leading men Jak Roberto and Rayver Cruz. This is also the very first time that Kylie will work together with Jak and Rayver!
During Runner Rocky's interview with Kylie and Jak, the two unveiled why they accepted their respective roles. They also shared their working relationships while filming the series and how they adjust to each other since this is their very first time working together in one project!
For Kylie, this is a dream role for her! She admitted that she is a fan of a Netflix series 'The Queen's Gambit.' Therefore when the role of Joni was offered to her, without any hesitations, she said, "yes, yes, yes!"
Jak on the other hand said that the role of Joni's bestfriend in the series is a character tailor-fitted for him! He was called by the GMA writers to offer the role. And when he read the script and saw many challenging scenes specially with heavy drama, he immediately accepted it!
Here is Runner Rocky's exclusive one-on-one virtual interview with the cast of 'Bolera' during our digital blogcon. Let's all watch this:
Also present during our blogcon is the former child star David Remo and veteran actors Joey Marquez and Jacklyn Jose. David will be playing the character of Joni's younger brother. He shared funny moments with Kylie during their taping.

On my interview with Jacklyn and Joey, the two shared how they guide the young stars in portraying their respective roles in the series as well as guiding them in their successful path to their careers in real life.
The series will also feature our top iconic billiard champions namely Efren "Bata" Reyes, Dyango Bustamante, Rubilen Amit, and Johann Chua. They will have special roles in the series that we must see!
