At first I thought it was a fake news when I saw someone in social media posted about the death of the Superstar and National Artist Ms. Nora Aunor. Until it was eventually confirmed when his son Ian De Leon posted on his official Facebook account about the sad news.
Yes, the Philippines' Superstar and the National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts joined our Creator on the night of April 16, 2025. I was on a night shift work back then and it was hard to sync-in in my mind about this sad truth.
And for that very moment, everything about Ms. Nora Aunor flashed on my memories - back in my childhood when I was watching her classic iconic films until the last time that I had my photos and interview with her!
It was on February 4, 2023, I didn't expect that this was the last day that I will meet and interview our superstar. It was during the story conference of her comeback movie "Pieta" under the direction of Adolf Alix Jr. That said film was produced by Alfred Vargas who at the same time played as Nora's son in the movie.
When I got the invite to cover the said event as a celebrity and entertainment blogger, I immediately said yes and confirmed my attendance to the event since it was a rare chance to interview and had a moment with our very own superstar and National Artist! And that event eventually turned as an iconic moment with the superstar.
And so without further ado, let me share first with you my last photos and selfies together with our Superstar exactly two years ago! Here are some:
Oh well as you can see I was so fat back then! But still, I'm so proud to post again these photos because these were my iconic photos with the Superstar Ms. Nora Aunor, a rare opportunity to be with her! And yes, I was so lucky enough that I met her again in person during that time.
